Bayrampaşa Sports Facilities Investment Launch
Stage and LED build · lighting and sound · iftar floor plan · run-of-show
Brief
Bayrampaşa Municipality wanted to announce its sports facility investments during Ramadan, with a ceremony attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports and an iftar open to the district.
Constraint
Ceremony, iftar and show in the same indoor sports hall, on the same evening. The protocol reception, the speeches, the iftar and the stage show had to fit one schedule, and the iftar hour cannot move.
Solution
An LED-wall stage at one end of the hall, iftar tables across the rest. The same hall was run in two lighting states: red and white for the flag-lined ceremony, blue and violet for the show. Welcome banners at the entrance, an aerial opening shot above the facility.
By the time the call to prayer sounded, the light had already come down to the tables.
Our role
Stage and LED build, lighting and sound, the table plan for the iftar floor and the run-of-show. The crew that built in the morning was at the lighting and sound desk at night.
Outcome
The Minister, the municipal protocol and thousands of guests in one hall on one evening: ceremony, iftar and a basketball show ran on a single schedule.
